About us

Located in the historic Palác Langhans in central Prague, NOOKART Studio is an apartment gallery dedicated to contemporary art. Founded by curators Eliška Hradec Chomisteková and Michaela Mellová, the studio combines their complementary experience across curatorial practice, collecting, art advisory and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Set within a carefully furnished interior, the gallery presents painting, sculpture, photography and design in a context that allows the works to be experienced beyond a conventional exhibition setting. The space offers a more intimate encounter with art and reflects the way in which artworks can form part of an interior, a collection and everyday life.

NOOKART Studio presents both emerging and established artists through a programme of curated exhibitions and private presentations. It works closely with collectors and provides access to a considered selection of contemporary artistic practices from Prague and the wider Czech art scene.

Eliška Hradec Chomisteková is a gallerist, curator and art collector, and co-founder of NOOKART studio, established in Prague in 2021. Since its founding, she has shaped the gallery’s exhibition programme, overseeing curatorial direction and production. She also leads NOOKART’s collaborations with brands, designers and showrooms, creating projects that connect contemporary art with design and everyday spaces.

Eliška Hradec Chomisteková

Michaela Mellová is a Prague-based curator, art advisor, and co-founder of NOOKART Studio. Alongside her curatorial practice, she works closely with private collectors on developing and shaping their collections, from individual acquisitions to bespoke commissions and site-specific projects. Her work also extends beyond traditional gallery settings, focusing on the thoughtful integration of contemporary art into private interiors and outdoor spaces.

Michaela Mellová

External Collaboration
International Brand Partnerships Consultant

London-based Karolina Chomistek is the founder of KCH_Studio and International Brand Partnerships Consultant at NOOKART Studio. She develops the gallery’s network across Europe, building strategic collaborations between leading brands, creative studios and contemporary artists. She also advises corporate clients on acquisitions, commissions and long-term collections, while developing bespoke events and projects that emerge from these partnerships — from initial concept and negotiation through to final delivery.
